Account and data deletion

Delete your Tidy account

You can request deletion of your Tidy account and associated account data from inside the app, or by contacting support if you cannot sign in.

Current internal testing app: Sign in at dev1.tidy.engineering/settings/data and use the Delete Account section.

How deletion works

  1. Open Tidy and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Settings, then Data & Administration.
  3. Use Delete My Account to schedule deletion.
  4. Tidy provides a 7-day grace period. During that period, you can cancel the pending deletion from the same page.
  5. You may also choose Delete Now from the in-app deletion screen to request immediate deletion.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@tidy.engineering from the address associated with your Tidy account and include "Account deletion request" in the subject line. We will use the email address to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Data deleted

Deletion removes the account and associated Tidy app data, including account profile data, notes, tasks, calendar records, contact data, imported files, and stored email content associated with that account.

Data retained

We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, tax, accounting, or legal compliance. Those records are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
